The Airport Ninja Bike Travel Case
The Airport Ninja Bike Travel Case
BACKED BY OUR LIFETIME GUARANTEE
Compact and discreet, the Airport Ninja is the world’s stealthiest bike travel case. But that doesn’t mean it skimps on protection. Beneath the 1680-denier ballistics nylon shell is hard plastic armor and multi-density foam to shield your prized possession from the pressure, sharp impacts, and drops it might experience on its way from the check-in counter to baggage claim. Foam wheel dividers and a fork pocket keep these parts of the bike separate and protected during transport. Padded backpack straps help you shoulder the load comfortably. The case expands in width so there’s room to pack extra equipment or souvenirs, and when empty can compress down to 2” for convenient storage.
Say goodbye to bike fees. Become an Airport Ninja.
In order to provide you with the smallest possible case for your bike, we have created two sizes of Airport Ninja:
Medium - fits road and CX bikes up to ~58cm
Large - fits 60-63cm road bikes and up to a large 29er or 650B mountain bike
Certain geometries might require sizing up, such as 'comfort' or 'touring' geometries which have relatively long head tubes and/or chain stays. Bikes with 'integrated' cockpit (cable routing through stem and head tube) may not be compatible. Enter your bike information during checkout to help us verify compatibility. If you have specific requests or notes you can use this space at checkout to provide these as well. If you have any questions regarding sizing, please email us at email@example.com
Handling & Shipping Times
Orders currently ship in 1-2 business days. Our standard service is UPS Ground, which takes 2-5 business days depending on how far one is from our headquarters in San Diego. If you plan to travel with the case in less than two weeks, it's best to email us to confirm shipping speed beforehand.
Expedited shipping service is available for $75. We use UPS Next Day Air. We can often ship expedited orders same-day, but depending on the time the order is placed, it might not go out until the next day. If you need your case ASAP, it's best to place the order immediately and email us right away outlining your time constraints. We will do our best to give you the fastest possible service. If we are unable to fulfill your order within the necessary time constraints, we can refund you.
We offer shipping anywhere in the world. Transit times vary. Customer is responsible for any applicable duties and fees. Expedited service through DHL is also available for those with specific delivery requirements.
Complete Packing Instructions
There are as many ways to pack an Airport Ninja as there are Airport Ninjas. What works well for one user and their bike may not be the ideal solution for another user with a different bike. It's important to practice packing soon after receiving your Airport Ninja so that we have plenty of time to help you should you need assistance.
We recommend packing the frame in one of the following three orientations in order to provide the best fit for your bike while preventing contact between the chain rings and the outer layers of fabric. Notice the head tube and rear dropout always go in the less-rounded corners.
Additional Steps for Bikes with a Fork-Routed Front Brake Cable/Hose
"I’ve lost count of how many times the Airport Ninja has accompanied me on both domestic and international trips, and I have yet to be charged or suffer any damage upon arrival... The fact that it lets me bring test bikes helps me keep the review process on track, too."
"In practice, it took us about 10 minutes longer to build our bike compared with our traveling companion, who had a more conventional case. She paid about $400 in fees to fly to France and back with her bike. Our Airport Ninja slipped by unnoticed."
"Over many months of travels, with multiple flights, the Orucase Airport Ninja has shown itself to be durable and reliable transport for my bike, it has become my go-to bag anytime I travel with my bike."
