I found the B2 to be very well made and easy to pack. It was MUCH easier to get around the airports and into rental cars than the Scicon TSA case I had for my bike...

"Any good bike case will help transport your bike to wherever you need to go safely and securely but few cases do so with such ease of portability, let alone help you dodge oversize baggage fees and save you money in Uber and rental car fees."

"Lightweight—18lbs, leaving you 32lbs of extra bike/luggage weight. Compact in size and storable! houghtful details—a couple zippered pockets, handles, backpack strap, and wheel bags."

"The Orucase B2 case and the high-quality wheel bags keep the bike and components in place. The straps and buckles give it added security, and the handles throughout the case make it easy to lift and roll or lift from the curb to the car."

"The Orucase B2-MTB provides a very secure way to transport your bag in the car, on a train or flying thousands of miles away from home. The higher than most price tag is easily outshined by the ease of travel and cash saved on oversize baggage. With how durable this bag has shown to be it will be in use for me for many seasons."

Why Cyclists Choose the B2

Designed Around the Real Friction of Flying With a Bike

Most bike travel cases solve protection by becoming larger, heavier, and harder to travel with.

The B2 takes a different approach.

Designed to stay compact enough to avoid many oversized airline baggage fees while still delivering serious protection, the B2 balances portability, durability, and ease of travel better than traditional bulky hard cases.

It fits a wide range of road, gravel, and mountain bikes while remaining lightweight enough to maximize packable weight under common airline limits. The compact footprint also makes the B2 easier to move through airports, fit into rental cars, store in hotel rooms, and live with during multi-stop trips.

But the biggest advantage is confidence.

Confidence that your bike arrives safely. Confidence that you packed the right case. Confidence that the company behind it will stand behind it years from now.

The B2 has been refined through years of real-world travel by cyclists who fly constantly for racing, training camps, riding trips, and international travel. Reinforced protection zones help safeguard the areas that matter most, while the soft-sided structure keeps the case lighter and more manageable than oversized rigid alternatives.

Whether you’re traveling across the country for a gravel race or flying internationally with your dream bike, the B2 is built to simplify bike travel — not add more stress to it.

Fly with it for years. We’ll stand behind it.

Will My Bike Fit?

The B2-MTB is designed to fit most modern mountain bikes — including many bikes riders assume won’t fit in a compact travel case.

It fits:

  • most XC, trail, and enduro mountain bikes
  • many XXL 29er bikes with up to 160mm travel
  • some downhill bikes
  • most road and gravel bikes under 56cm with the fork installed and handlebars removed
  • 58-61cm road and gravel bikes with the fork and bars removed

For road and gravel bikes larger than 56cm, packing typically requires removing the fork and handlebars.

For integrated cockpit bikes, we generally recommend the Sentinel Bike Travel Case instead. The Sentinel only requires wheel removal and is designed specifically around modern integrated cockpit and internally routed bikes.

MTB Fit Measurement

The B2-MTB will fit bikes measuring less than 47” from: the rear dropouts to the front of the head tube.

If you’re unsure whether your bike fits, reach out before ordering and we’ll help confirm compatibility for your exact setup.

Built by Cyclists Who Spent Years Flying With Bikes

Orucase started because we were professional cyclists trying to get to races across the U.S. and around the world without paying massive airline bike fees every trip.

At the time, most bike cases were oversized, heavy, awkward to travel with, and difficult to store once you arrived. So we started experimenting with ways to build something smaller, lighter, and easier to actually live with while traveling.

What started in Vermont with fabric, foam, and a thrift-store sewing machine eventually became the B2.

Now based in Reno, Nevada, we’ve spent the last 15 years refining our cases through hundreds of thousands of real-world flights, race trips, gravel camps, and international bike travel days.

The B2 was built around a simple idea:
flying with your bike should feel less stressful, less bulky, and less complicated.
