Innovative, a soft case with a lightweight removable internal frame and substantial internal protection. I'm a big guy with a big, long-wheelbase bike and most travel cases, hard or soft, will not accommodate it. The Sentinel does!

"Now the Sentinel is hitting the market as the next generation. The core concept is still a lightweight design that’s easy to store and transport when not in use. What’s different is now there’s a full aluminum cage on the interior with enough room to keep the handlebar in place."
"“Serious bike nerds must have designed this case,” raved one tester... It’s chock full of innovations, and we loved two features that make a huge difference in protection and ease of packing."

Built for the Bikes Traditional Cases Struggle With

Modern bikes have changed.

Integrated cockpits, fully internal routing, aero frames, wider handlebars, and larger tire clearances have made many traditional bike cases frustrating to pack and stressful to travel with.
The Sentinel was designed specifically around those challenges.

Instead of forcing riders into major bike disassembly, the Sentinel allows many bikes to travel with the fork and cockpit intact, dramatically simplifying packing while reducing the risk of damage or setup headaches during reassembly.

At the center of the Sentinel is a full aluminum roll cage paired with reinforced armored side panels and high-density foam protection. The result is a case that combines the structure and confidence of a hard case with the practicality and storage advantages of a soft-sided design.

The Sentinel is built for riders traveling with bikes they genuinely care about:
• race bikes
• dream builds
• integrated cockpit gravel bikes
• aero road bikes
• triathlon bikes

Because when you’re flying with a high-end bike, the goal isn’t just getting it there.

It’s arriving with confidence.

• road bikes
• gravel bikes
• triathlon bikes
• aero bikes
• integrated cockpit bikes

Many bikes can be packed with:
• the fork installed
• handlebars installed
• cockpit intact

The sentinel will fit wheelbases up to 1125mm, and a "stack" of 700mm (distance from dropout vertically to top of bars). The Sentinel accommodates many integrated cockpit setups up to 60cm wide.

Built by Cyclists Who Spent Years Flying With Bikes

Orucase started because we were professional cyclists trying to get to races across the U.S. and around the world without paying massive airline bike fees or dragging oversized hard cases through airports.

At the time, most bike cases were heavy, bulky, difficult to store, and required major bike disassembly. So we started experimenting with smaller, more practical ways to travel with bikes — first out of necessity, then eventually as a company.

What started in Vermont with fabric, foam, and a thrift-store sewing machine has evolved into a full line of travel gear now designed and tested in Reno, Nevada.

Over the last 15 years, we’ve continued refining our cases around the realities of modern bike travel:

• integrated cockpits
• fully internal routing
• expensive bikes riders actually care about
• airports, rental cars, hotels, trains, and constant movement

The Sentinel was built from that experience.
